Namur province posted a median house price of 260,000 euros for 2025, up 14.3% year on year, sitting above the Walloon median of 240,000 euros (source: Notaire.be, February 2026). Apartments reached 205,000 euros, a punchy 13.9% rise. These are the latest full-year figures read into 2026.
Namur is one of Wallonia’s pricier provinces, and 2025 widened that lead. The median house changed hands at 260,000 euros, some 20,000 euros above the regional median, and climbed 14.3% over the year according to Notaire.be data published in February 2026. As the seat of the Walloon government and a well-connected riverside capital, the province carries a structural premium that its house prices reflect.
What stands out is the apartment side. Namur flats reached a median of 205,000 euros, up 13.9%, one of the strongest apartment gains anywhere in Wallonia and unusually close to the pace of houses. In most provinces flats lagged houses in 2025; in Namur the two moved almost in step, a sign of broad-based demand across property types rather than a single hot segment.
That demand fed off the wider backdrop: the 3% registration-duty reform on an own and sole home from 1 January 2025 and transaction volumes up around 16% to 17% in the province (source: Fednot, 2026). Rising prices on rising volumes is the textbook profile of a seller-favourable market.
A 260,000 euro median still hides wide swings between the city centre, the Jambes bank and outlying communes. For your own address, an on-site valuation from the Namur office beats the provincial figure every time.
