You obtain a cadastral extract online through MyMinfin (SPF Finances), where you can view your own property data and order a certified extract paid by Bancontact, or by sending form 434 to the Administration Generale de la Documentation Patrimoniale (SPF Finances, 2026).

A cadastral extract is the federal record of a parcel: it identifies the plot, its owner, its surface and its cadastral income (revenu cadastral), the notional annual value used to calculate property tax. In Belgium the cadastre is managed federally by the SPF Finances, so the procedure is the same across Wallonia.

The simplest route is digital. Logging in to MyMinfin with your eID or itsme, you reach the section “Mon habitation et mes biens immobiliers”, where you can consult the data on your own properties and request a certified extract, paying directly online by Bancontact (SPF Finances / aideacces.be, 2026). Because online extracts are generated automatically, they are cheaper and faster than paper requests.

If you prefer paper, or need parcels you do not own, you complete form 434 (“demande d’extraits de la documentation cadastrale”) and send it to the AGDP scanning centre by post or email (SPF Finances, 2026). A modest administrative fee applies per extract, set by the SPF Finances.

The practical surprise: in most sales you never lift a finger, because the notary requests the up-to-date extract as part of the pre-deed searches. Ordering your own copy is mainly useful early on, to confirm the exact parcel and cadastral income before you set an asking price. Easyhome pulls this information at the estimation stage so your listing is accurate from day one.
